Locations: Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix (Ahwatukee), Queen Creek
Subjects: Elementary (all subjects), English and Writing, Mathematics, Sciences, Languages

Contractor position involves tutoring students at their home or at a library. Tutors typically between the hours of 4pm - 8pm, but day-time positions are also available. Preference is given to those able to tutor all levels of a subject K-6 or 7-12. Standardized test tutoring experience is also a plus. Schedules and locations are flexible. Tutors should commit to one full school year of tutoring.

Requirements

Tutors must have a bachelor's degree plus 3 years experience (teaching or tutoring). Tutors should live in the east valley and be willing to travel within a 10 mile radius of  home or work. Applicants must be extremely reliable and have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and patience. Tutors are required to consent to a background screening or possess valid fingerprint clearance.
